Lauren Elaine

Lauren Elaine, born Lauren Edleson on November 7, 1983, is an American fashion designer, actress, and model. She is widely known for her fashion design career and her appearances in television and film, as well as her recurring roles in prominent country music videos.

Born in San Diego, Elaine was discovered at a local shopping mall at the age of 12. Shortly after, she signed with the California modeling agency LA Models. During her early modeling career, she worked with clients such as Chanel, Nordstrom, and Teen and Seventeen magazines. She graduated at the top of her class from Poway High School in 2002. Choosing to defer international modeling opportunities to pursue her education, she attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she joined the Kappa Delta sorority and graduated early in 2005.

Elaine received her first major break in the entertainment industry in 2003 when she was cast as Becky in the music video for Dierks Bentley's song "What Was I Thinkin'". The video reached the top spot on the CMT charts, and the song achieved a number-one ranking on the Billboard charts. Following the success of the debut video, she reprised her role as Becky in three subsequent videos for Bentley, including "How Am I Doin'", "Lot of Leavin' Left to Do", and "Am I the Only One".

Her exposure in music videos transitioned into film work, leading to roles in major motion pictures. She appeared as Brandi in Fox Searchlight's The Ringer and earned a role in Miramax's Sin City. After relocating to Los Angeles, she secured the lead role in Blue Water Entertainment's production Memphis Rising, which was scheduled for release in 2012.

In October 2009, Elaine expanded into fashion design by launching her self-named "Lauren Elaine" brand at Los Angeles Fashion Week. Her label gained positive receptions at LA Fashion Week 2010 and during her Spring/Summer 2011 "Art of Fashion" presentation. In 2010, Crystal Cruises selected her over established designers such as Vera Wang and Michael Kors to present the first couture runway show held at sea. That same year, she introduced her Swim Collection in Hollywood.

Elaine's profile in the fashion industry continued to grow as she headlined San Diego Women's Week in 2011 and appeared alongside Tyra Banks and Nicki Minaj as a guest designer on America's Next Top Model: Allstars. Alongside her couture Black Label Collection, she expanded her brand offerings by unveiling the Laine by Lauren Elaine collection in 2013.
