Kelly Carrington

Kelly Carrington, born Kelly Anne Hemberger on June 24, 1986, in White Plains, New York, is an American model and fashion designer. Raised in Florida, she attended Martin County High School in Stuart, Florida, before enrolling at the University of Florida, where she pursued a degree in public relations. During her college years, she began embarking on a career in professional modeling, which soon brought her national visibility.

Carrington established herself in print and commercial modeling during the late 2000s. Her major breakthrough occurred in October 2008 when she was named Playboy magazine's Playmate of the Month and featured on the publication's cover. Following this initial success, she continued working in the lifestyle and fashion sectors, appearing in editorial shoots and media profiles, including feature coverage in Complex magazine.

Building on her experience within the fashion and beauty industries, Carrington expanded her focus toward apparel design. She established Éclairée, a high-end swimwear and resort wear brand, serving as its founder and creative director. Influenced by classic aesthetics and geometric art, Carrington designed pieces featuring color-blocking techniques and versatile day-to-night cuts aimed at providing functional sophistication for women.

In July 2012, Carrington presented Éclairée's Spring/Summer 2013 collection at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim, held at The Raleigh hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. The presentation received coverage from style outlets and fashion publications, establishing her as an active designer in the resort fashion market. Carrington has maintained a reputation in the industry for combining print modeling success with creative entrepreneurship.

Her 2008 centerfold was photographed by Stephen Wayda, one of Playboy’s best-known contributors, and the pictorial remains the work she is most identified with.
