Early Life and Background

Born on November 2, 1989, Irby spent much of her youth enjoying an active, coastal lifestyle along the Australian coast. Her passion for surf culture and beachwear emerged at a young age, inspired by the surrounding ocean environment. Having pursued studies in sport management and exercise science, she developed a keen interest in fitness and functional apparel, which eventually laid the groundwork for her transition into fashion design and business management.

Entrepreneurship and Moana Bikini

In 2011, Irby launched Moana Bikini after recognizing a demand for comfortable, stylish, and flattering swimwear designed for active beachgoers. Teaching herself design techniques through online resources, she initially funded the venture with a small personal loan from her father. Over the years, Moana Bikini grew into an internationally recognized brand known for its bold prints, cheekier cuts, and inclusive marketing campaigns. Irby expanded her enterprise to include fitness guides such as Bikini Body Burn and digital lifestyle content. Under her leadership, the brand has frequently featured models of diverse body types and abilities, championing representational diversity in the swimwear market.

Body Positivity and Content Creation

As a prominent influencer, Irby uses her platform to challenge conventional beauty standards by regularly sharing unedited photos, discussing natural skin textures, eczema, and body confidence. Her candid posts and humorous, relatable videos have earned her widespread praise, positioning her as a leading figure in the body-positive movement. Through her social media channels, she continuously encourages followers to embrace their individuality and reject unrealistic digital filtering.
