Hiba Abouk

Hiba Abouk, born Hiba Aboukhris Benslimane, is a Spanish actress. She is widely recognized for her work in television, including her performances as Candela in the series Con el culo al aire and Fátima in the drama series El Príncipe.

Abouk was born in Madrid on 30 October 1986 and is the youngest of four children. Her parents emigrated from Tunisia to Spain. Her father was of Libyan descent, and she also has a Romani great-grandfather. She developed a passion for Flamenco during her upbringing. Abouk attended the French Lycée in Madrid until the age of 18, later studying Arabic philology and earning a licentiate degree in drama from the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático (RESAD).

Her television acting career began in 2008 with a minor role in an episode of El síndrome de Ulises. Her career advanced in 2010 when she appeared in the television series La isla de los nominados. Following this, she secured additional television roles in productions such as Cheers and El corazón del océano.

Between 2012 and 2013, Abouk portrayed Candela in Con el culo al aire. She subsequently landed her first leading role as Fátima in the television series El Príncipe, which ran from 2014 to 2016. Her performance in El Príncipe earned her a nomination for Best TV Actress at the Iris Awards. Her other notable television credits include the series Madres.

In her personal life, Abouk married Moroccan footballer Achraf Hakimi in 2020, with whom she has two sons. She announced their divorce in March 2023. She was later in a brief relationship with businessman Antonio Revilla between 2024 and 2025. Abouk celebrates Eid al-Fitr and is multilingual, speaking Spanish, Arabic, English, Italian, and French.
