Hannah Holman

Hannah Elizabeth Nielson Holman is an American fashion model. Born on March 12, 1991, she is best known for her extensive print, campaign, and runway modeling work for major global fashion brands, magazines, and designers.

Holman was raised in the small town of Leamington, Utah, which has a population of approximately 210 people. The youngest of four children, she is the daughter of a schoolteacher mother and a cattle rancher father. After assisting her father on their ranch for years, she became skilled as a western horse rider. At age 15, Holman was discovered at a shopping mall.

She made her runway debut in 2009 for the Resort 2010 season, opening the show for Miu Miu and closing for Prada. In the Fall 2010 season, Holman both opened and closed for Jonathan Saunders. During her runway career, she walked for prominent designers and fashion houses including Alberta Ferretti, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Fendi, Gaspard Yurkievich, Jaeger London, Karl Lagerfeld, Loewe, Louis Vuitton, Marc Jacobs, Marc by Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Nina Ricci, Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, and Valentino.

Across subsequent runway seasons, Holman opened the Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2011 show and walked for brands including Antonio Marras, Betty Jackson, Cushnie et Ochs, Damir Doma, Emanuel Ungaro, Erdem, Hogan, Iceberg, Jill Stuart, John Rocha, Les Copains, Mary Katrantzou, PPQ, Pringle of Scotland, Roksanda Ilincic, Sonia Rykiel, Topshop Unique, and Vivienne Westwood Red Label.

Holman appeared in her first promotional campaign for American Eagle in Spring 2008. Her first major advertising campaign was for Miu Miu's Spring/Summer 2009 collection, shot by Mert and Marcus. For the Spring/Summer 2010 season, she served as the face of Marc by Marc Jacobs, photographed by Juergen Teller, and T by Alexander Wang, photographed by Daniel Jackson. Additional campaign appearances that season included Jill Stuart, See by Chloe, Burberry Japan, and Uniqlo.

Over the course of her modeling career, Holman was featured in campaigns for Alexander Wang, Burberry, Chloe, H&M, Iceberg, Ice Iceberg, Max Mara, Moschino Cheap and Chic, and Orla Kiely. In Spring/Summer 2012, she appeared alongside Frida Gustavsson and Sophie Srej in the first TV commercial for Marc Jacobs, advertising the Daisy Eau so Fresh fragrance under the direction of TJ Wilcox and Juergen Teller.

In print media, Holman has appeared on the magazine covers of French Revue de Modes, D, and Elle Portugal. Her editorial work includes features in Allure, Dazed & Confused, i-D, Interview Magazine, V Magazine, W Magazine, and international editions of Vogue, including American, Australian, British, French, Italian, Japanese, Russian, and Teen Vogue.
