Giada De Laurentiis

Giada De Laurentiis is an Italian-American celebrity chef, television personality, author, and entrepreneur. She is best known as the host of several popular culinary television programs, including Food Network's "Everyday Italian" and "Giada at Home." Over her career, De Laurentiis has established a major presence in food media, publishing numerous bestselling cookbooks and launching food products and lifestyle brands.

Born in Rome, Italy, De Laurentiis was raised in an Italian family steeped in the entertainment and culinary worlds as the granddaughter of film producer Dino De Laurentiis. After attending the University of California, Los Angeles, she pursued professional culinary training at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, specializing in cuisine and pastry. She subsequently worked as a chef in Los Angeles restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and launched her own catering business, GDL Foods.

De Laurentiis rose to national fame in the mid-2000s following the debut of "Everyday Italian" on Food Network. Her television career expanded to include shows such as "Giada's Weekend Getaways," "Giada in Italy," and regular appearances as a contributor and guest host on NBC's "Today." Her work on television earned her a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lifestyle Host. In addition to her broadcast career, she opened restaurant concepts including GIADA in Las Vegas.

Beyond media and restaurant operations, De Laurentiis is a prolific author of cookbooks focused on Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. She expanded her entrepreneurial footprint by founding Giadzy, a lifestyle and e-commerce platform that curates Italian food products, recipes, and culinary content.
