Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian-American actress. She is widely recognized for her television roles, including portraying the half-human, half-angel warrior Isabelle Lightwood on the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters from 2016 to 2019. She has also starred as Lily Diaz on the Amazon Prime Video romantic comedy series With Love from 2021 to 2023.

Toubia was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and raised as an only child in Brownsville, Texas. Her mother was born and raised in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico, while her father is Lebanese American. During her childhood, she was professionally trained in classical ballet, flamenco, belly dance, and lyrical dance. She attended Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville for her secondary education. Starting at the age of fifteen, Toubia competed in several beauty pageants, earning titles such as Miss South Texas, Miss Rio Grande Valley America, and Miss Teen Brownsville.

Toubia made her first television appearance in 1999 at ten years old on Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Niños. She gained wider recognition in 2008 as the first runner-up on the second season of Univision's beauty pageant series Nuestra Belleza Latina, where contestants received training in acting, presenting, and dancing. Following this, she appeared in advertisements for major brands including Maybelline, J. C. Penney, Sony, Garnier, and AT&T. She finished in fifth place on the second season of Model Latina in 2009 and was a semifinalist in Miss Texas USA 2010.

From 2011 to 2013, Toubia worked as a presenter for NBC Universo entertainment and music programs, including The Arena, 18 & Over, and mun2POP, and co-hosted the red carpet special for the 2013 Billboard Latin Music Awards. She made her acting debut in 2013 as Elizabeth on Nickelodeon Latin America's youth telenovela 11-11: En mi cuadra nada cuadra, receiving coaching from actress Adriana Barraza. She later appeared as Dulce Rincón in Venevisión's Cosita linda in 2014 and as Stephanie Karam in Voltea pa' que te enamores in 2015.

In 2016, Toubia joined the cast of Freeform's Shadowhunters, a fantasy series adapted from Cassandra Clare's The Mortal Instruments book series. That same month, she featured in the music video for Prince Royce's single "Culpa al Corazón". Since 2021, she has starred in the Amazon Prime Video series With Love, and she is set to appear in the romantic comedy film The Redo. In May 2026, she signed with Innovative Artists for representation.

In her personal life, Toubia began dating musician Prince Royce in 2011, marrying him in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, in November 2018. The couple lived in Studio City, Los Angeles, before announcing plans to divorce in March 2022. Since 2023, she has been in a relationship with actor Arnas Fedaravicius. Toubia supports the non-profit organization Get Schooled, serving as a "celebrity principal" for a day at Middle College High School in San Bernardino, California, in May 2016.
