Dylan Riley Synder

Dylan Riley Jacob Snyder, born January 24, 1998, is an American actor, filmmaker, and Twitch streamer. Recognized for his acting, singing, and dancing skills, he began his career in community theatre as a young child before transitioning to professional stage productions, television, and film. He is best known for starring as Young Tarzan in the 2006 Broadway musical adaptation of Tarzan and as Milton Krupnick on the Disney XD original comedy series Kickin' It.

Snyder was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to Ashley and Les Snyder, and is of Mexican American descent through his mother's side. He grew up attending the musical theatre rehearsals of his older sister, Cassidy. At four years old, director Brent Jones noted his ability to take direction, leading to his first speaking role at age five as Tiny Tim in a community theatre production of A Christmas Carol. Local director Tina Fitch subsequently cast him in several University of Alabama productions, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Pippin, and Assassins. In 2003, his family relocated to Petal, Mississippi, where he sang with the Mississippi Boys Choir and the Hattiesburg Civic Light Opera.

Following Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Snyder's family returned to Alabama before he and his mother moved to New York City to pursue professional theatre. After competing against hundreds of boys, he landed the role of Young Tarzan in Disney's Broadway musical Tarzan. To meet the physical and vocal demands of the part, he studied gymnastics and worked with a Disney vocal coach. Snyder made his Broadway debut in September 2006 and appeared in 169 performances before the production closed in July 2007.

While based in New York, Snyder pursued training in ballet, tap dance, voice, dialects, and etiquette. During this period, he worked as a model appearing in print advertorials for H&M and Lord & Taylor, as well as commercials for Univest Bank, Benadryl, and Chuck E. Cheese's. He also landed television roles on Sesame Street and voiced characters on Nickelodeon's animated series Wonder Pets!. In 2009, he made his film debut in the short Valley of the Moon and starred as Timmy Maplewood in Todd Solondz's feature film Life During Wartime, earning a Gotham Award nomination.

In late 2009, Snyder returned to the New York stage as Young Horace Robedaux in the nine-part off-Broadway production of The Orphans' Home Cycle, for which he and the production team received a special Drama Desk Award. In 2010, he landed his first comedic television role as karate competitor Milton Krupnick in Kickin' It. He relocated to Los Angeles for the series, which premiered in 2011 and became Disney XD's highest-rated original series.

Snyder later starred as Milton in the 2015 film Mamaboy and portrayed Boom Guy in the YouTube series Astrid Clover. Outside of his performing career, he is a former member of the Boy Scouts of America and a founding member of Broadway Kids Care. In December 2014, he began a relationship with actress Allisyn Ashley Arm, and the couple married on September 18, 2019.
