Drew Desbordes

Drew Desbordes, widely recognized by his professional alias Druski, is an American comedian, actor, digital content creator, and entrepreneur. Born on September 12, 1994, in Columbia, Maryland, he was raised in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He rose to international prominence through his highly observational short-form video skits, relatable character portrayals, and comedic web series shared across social media platforms.

Early Life and Education

Desbordes grew up in Georgia alongside his family, including his mother, a Department of State employee, and his father, a commercial pilot and military veteran. He attended South Gwinnett High School before enrolling at Georgia Gwinnett College and later transferring to Georgia Southern University. While in college, he initially studied sports analytics with aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster. However, after deciding to leave university after two semesters, he redirected his focus toward comedy and digital entertainment, utilizing social media platforms as his primary stage.

Career and Content Creation

Druski began regularly uploading sketch comedy videos to Instagram and YouTube in late 2017. His rapid rise in popularity came from his razor-sharp parodies of pop culture, corporate behavior, and music industry tropes. One of his most celebrated creations is "Coulda Been Records," a satirical talent label where he hosts live-streamed auditions for aspiring musicians. The concept evolved into full-fledged digital reality-style series, including "Coulda Been House," "Coulda Been Love," and "Coulda Been Daddy," which draw millions of views per episode on his official YouTube channel.

Business Ventures and Media Appearances

Beyond internet video production, Desbordes has expanded into mainstream television, feature films, and corporate partnerships. He appeared in films such as House Party (2023) and Praise This (2023), and served as a guest commentator on NBC's The Voice. His high-profile musical collaborations include starring in music videos alongside artists like Drake, Jack Harlow, and Lil Yachty. Additionally, he launched the sports agency 4LiferSports and holds an equity partnership in the beverage brand Happy Dad.

Personal Life

Desbordes maintains a private personal life, keeping details regarding his romantic relationships out of the public domain. He frequently resides in the Atlanta, Georgia area, where he produces much of his comedic content and oversees his various production projects and business enterprises.
