Dian Parkinson

Dian Parkinson, born Diana Lynn Batts on November 30, 1944, is an American former actress, model, and beauty pageant titleholder. She is best known for her long-running role as a model on the American television game show The Price Is Right.

Her career in pageantry began while she was living in Falls Church, Virginia. In 1965, competing as Diana Batts, she won the Miss District of Columbia USA title and went on to place as fourth runner-up in the Miss USA 1965 pageant. Later that year, she won the 1965 Miss USA World contest and represented the United States at the Miss World 1965 competition in London, where she finished as first runner-up to Lesley Langley of the United Kingdom.

Following her pageant success in 1965, Parkinson traveled with the Bob Hope USO Show, performing in Vietnam in late December of that year. She also served as the Queen of the 1965 Bob Hope Desert Classic golf tournament.

Parkinson joined the television game show The Price Is Right as a model in 1975, appearing on the program for eighteen years until 1993. Outside of the game show, she took on acting roles, including a guest appearance on The Mary Tyler Moore Show in 1975 and a role in the 1978 pilot of the television series Vega$. In December 1991 and May 1993, she appeared as a cover girl for Playboy. Her work with the brand in 1993 also included a dedicated photo magazine titled Playboy Presents Dian Parkinson and a video release titled Playboy Celebrity Centrefold: Dian Parkinson. Additionally, she served as the official spokesperson for the EZ Krunch home exercise equipment machine in 1993.

Parkinson's departure from The Price Is Right aired on June 18, 1993, with host Bob Barker announcing she left to pursue other interests. In 1994, she filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Barker in Los Angeles Superior Court. The lawsuit was withdrawn in April 1995, with Parkinson stating that the legal process was too costly and adversely affected her health. That same year, she appeared as a guest on the animated talk show Space Ghost: Coast to Coast.

In her personal life, Parkinson was married to E. Duke Vincent from 1977 to 1982. From 2015 to 2019, she owned a residence in Westlake Village, California. Her whereabouts after selling the property are unknown, and an attempt to reach her in 2026 was unsuccessful.
