Dadju

Dadju Alimasi Nsungula, known professionally by the mononym Dadju and at times as Prince Dadj, is a French-Congolese singer. He is widely recognized for his work as a solo artist as well as his former involvement in the musical duo Shin Sekaï.

Dadju was born on May 2, 1991, into a musical family. His father, Djanana Djuna, served as a vocalist in Papa Wemba's band. Dadju's half-brother is the famous solo singer Gims, a former member of the French rap group Sexion d'Assaut, which operated under the Wati B music label. Additionally, his brothers Bedjik and Xgangs are both rappers.

Between 2012 and 2016, Dadju was a member of the musical group Shin Sekaï alongside rapper Abou Tall. Signed to the label Wati B, the duo released the album Indéfini before deciding to separate to pursue individual solo careers. Following the duo's split, Dadju signed with Polydor Records of Universal Music Group in 2017.

As a solo performer, Dadju released his debut album, Gentleman 2.0, in 2017. Over the course of his career, he has been signed to major music labels including Wati B and Polydor Records.

In his personal life, Dadju married in 2016 and had a daughter a few months later. He subsequently welcomed a son in 2020.

Dadju is also involved in charitable activities through his organization, Give Back Charity. On April 22, 2025, he performed at the sold-out Solidarité Congo benefit concert at the Accor Arena. The event gathered 30 prominent figures from the French rap industry alongside internationally recognized and Congolese musicians to raise funds for children affected by the Rwandan-backed M23 insurgency in eastern DRC.
