Camila Queiroz

Camila de Queiroz Toledo, born 27 June 1993, is a Brazilian actress and model. She is widely known for starring as Angel in the telenovela Verdades Secretas, a series that received an International Emmy Award.

Queiroz was born in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, to a mother who worked as a manicurist and a father who worked as a carpenter. She is of Portuguese and Syrian descent and grew up as the middle daughter alongside two sisters, Caroline and Melina.

Her modeling career began at age 14 when she won the national phase of the Pernambucanas Faces contest and signed with Ford Models, moving to live on her own in São Paulo. At 16, she worked in Japan under contract with a local agency. By age 18, she moved to New York City to continue modeling, eventually spending three years in the United States and taking part in international campaigns for brands such as Armani Exchange.

At age 21, Queiroz was invited by Walcyr Carrasco to audition for the telenovela Verdades Secretas. She secured her debut acting role as Angel / Arlete, a young woman aiming to become a successful model who ultimately works as a high-class prostitute. Her performance as the series protagonist earned praise from both viewers and critics, as well as multiple awards. Around this time, she also made her hosting debut alongside Márcio Garcia for the end-year special Festeja Brasil.

Queiroz collaborated again with Carrasco in 2016 for the project Êta Mundo Bom!, playing the character Mafalda. In 2017, she starred in the romantic comedy Pega Pega, written by Claudia Souto. Beginning in 2022, she has starred as the older version of Anita in the Brazilian show Back to 15 alongside Maisa.

In her personal life, Queiroz dated model Lucas Cattani from 2013 to 2016. She later began a relationship with actor Klebber Toledo in August 2016 while traveling in Bariloche, Argentina. The couple became engaged in June 2017 and married in August 2018 in Jericoacoara, Ceará, Brazil.
