Brian Lagerstrom

Brian Lagerstrom is an American chef, baker, and food content creator based in St. Louis, Missouri. He is best known for producing instructional culinary content and recipe videos on YouTube, focusing on practical techniques, sourdough bread, pizza, and weeknight meals tailored for home cooks.

Lagerstrom began his culinary career working in professional restaurant kitchens in Chicago in 2008, holding roles as a line cook and sous chef. He later relocated to St. Louis, where he served as a sous chef at Niche and helped establish Union Loafers Cafe and Bread Bakery as a head baker. He subsequently worked as a corporate culinary consultant before transitioning to full-time content creation.

In 2020, Lagerstrom launched his self-titled YouTube channel alongside his wife, Lauren. The channel experienced significant growth following viral success with bread-baking tutorials, leading to his designation as a YouTube Creator on the Rise in 2021. His work has since expanded into a digital platform featuring tested recipes, and he has collaborated with brand partners as a chef ambassador.
