Artemas

Artemas — full name Artemas Diamandis — is an English singer, songwriter and record producer born on 23 September 1999. Performing mononymously as Artemas, he rose to international prominence in 2024 as one of the breakout pop artists of the year.

He grew up in a village in Oxfordshire, England, and has Greek Cypriot heritage through his father. Artemas received piano lessons from the age of six and developed an early interest in singing. Inspired to start songwriting at sixteen after watching a documentary about Kurt Cobain, he taught himself to play instruments and produce his own music, experimenting across styles before relocating to London to pursue music professionally.

His single "If U Think I'm Pretty," released in October 2023, went viral and charted in several countries during early 2024. His major commercial breakthrough followed with "I Like the Way You Kiss Me" in March 2024 — a track Variety described as one of the most ubiquitous songs of the year. The single reached number one in seven countries, peaked at number three in the United Kingdom and number twelve in the United States, and earned multiple platinum certifications internationally.

Artemas released his debut mixtape, Pretty, in February 2024, followed by Yustyna in July 2024, Lovercore in October 2025, and Getting Up to No Good in March 2026. Signed to 10K Projects, he is known for a lo-fi, hook-driven pop sensibility that he largely writes and produces himself, and for a fast rise built on viral momentum and self-made production.
