Ana Kraš is a Serbian designer, photographer, artist, and model recognized for her work across furniture design, fashion, and visual art. Born in Belgrade, Kraš gained international acclaim for her distinctive artistic vision, most notably her Bonbon lamp series. Throughout her career, she has worked as a fashion model, creative director, photographer, and object designer. Her aesthetic emphasizes simplicity, handcrafting, and playfulness, bridging fine art with industrial design.

Early Life and Education

Ana Kraš was born on July 25, 1984, in Belgrade, Serbia. She studied interior architecture and furniture design at the University of Applied Arts in Belgrade. During her final year of studies, Kraš won the Young Balkan Designers contest, earning an opportunity to exhibit her plywood chair design, Hug, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan. This early success launched her creative career internationally.

Design and Modeling Career

Kraš gained widespread recognition for her signature yarn-wrapped Bonbon lamps, later produced in partnership with Danish design brand HAY. Beyond object design, Kraš developed a career in fashion photography and art direction, working with brands like Chloé, Ganni, and Khaite. Having modeled briefly in Japan as a teenager, she continued modeling for high-profile fashion campaigns while designing sets for events such as Copenhagen Fashion Week.

Business and Projects

In 2024, Kraš co-founded the multidisciplinary brand Teget with business partner Ruben Moreira. Named after the Serbian word for navy blue, Teget unifies her work in lighting, furniture, homeware, and fashion under a single aesthetic umbrella. Through Teget, Kraš creates versatile products that balance minimalist functionality with handcrafted details.

Personal Life

Kraš resided in New York City for nearly a decade before relocating to Paris, France, where she lives and operates her studio. She remains active in the international art and design community, showcasing her work globally.
