Alinne Moraes

Jaqueline Cristine Dorelli de Magalhães e Moraes, professionally known as Alinne Moraes, is a Brazilian actress and former fashion model. Born on December 22, 1982, in Sorocaba, São Paulo, she is best known for her television roles as Maria Sílvia in the telenovela Duas Caras and as Luciana in Viver a Vida.

Before transitioning into acting, Moraes began working as a fashion model at the age of 12 and retired from modeling six years later. As a prominent media figure in Brazil, she was named one of the 100 Sexiest Women in the World in 2004 by an internet poll conducted by VIP magazine. In addition to VIP, her image has appeared in numerous publications, including Claudia, Nova, UMA, Marie Claire, Trip, Boa Forma, and Elle Brasil.

Moraes made her acting debut on the telenovela Coração de Estudante, portraying a young unmarried mother. In 2003, she played Clara, a gay teenager, in the series Mulheres Apaixonadas. She co-starred as Moa, a character diagnosed with a brain tumor, in the 2004 telenovela Da Cor do Pecado. Between 2004 and 2005, Moraes landed her first lead role in Como uma Onda, playing Nina, a woman pursued by two suitors named Jorge Junqueira and Daniel Cascaes.

Her acting career continued in 2006 with a role in the feature film Fica Comigo Esta Noite, an adaptation of a play by Flávio de Souza. That same year, she played Penny Lane, a scholar of advanced physics, in the telenovela Bang Bang. Between 2007 and 2008, Moraes gained widespread attention playing the psychopath villain Maria Sílvia in Rede Globo's primetime telenovela Duas Caras. The character was her first villain role and served as a major factor in boosting the audience for the Aguinaldo Silva production.

In 2009, Moraes portrayed a prostitute in the film Os Normais 2 – A Noite Mais Maluca de Todas. She subsequently played former model Luciana Ribeiro in the Manoel Carlos telenovela Viver a Vida. In the series, her character becomes tetraplegic following a road accident that halts her career. In 2011, Moraes portrayed Queen Cristina in the telenovela Cordel Encantado, starred as Lili in O Astro, and played Silvia in the film Heleno.

Moraes was cast in the 2014 project Em Família, but she was unable to attend filming due to her pregnancy and was subsequently replaced by Tainá Müller. Later in 2016, she returned to television in the series Rock Story, portraying Diana, the ex-wife of the character Gui.

In recognition of her artistic contributions across film, theater, and television, Moraes received the title of citizen emeritus of Sorocaba in 2010. In her personal life, she was in a relationship with actor Cauã Reymond from 2002 to 2005 and later ended a relationship with bartender and businessman Rodrigo Mendonça in 2010. She married Brazilian filmmaker Mauro Lima, with whom she welcomed a son named Pedro on May 8, 2014, before they later divorced. She is an atheist.
