Zuria Vega

Zuria Valeria Vega Sisto, born January 10, 1989, is a Mexican actress and singer. She is recognized for her performances across a variety of Mexican television series, theatrical productions, and prominent telenovelas.

Vega was born and raised in Mexico City. She comes from a family with ties to the entertainment industry; her father was Mexican actor Gonzalo Vega, and her mother is Leonora Sisto, who is Spanish. She was raised alongside her older sister, actress Marimar Vega, as well as a brother. She also has a half-sister from an earlier relationship of her father.

Vega began her career in acting by appearing as an extra in the stage play La señora presidente, a theatrical project that her father both directed and starred in. At the age of 17, she earned her initial role on television, playing the character Roberta in the Mexican drama series S.O.S.: Sexo y otros Secretos.

Between 2008 and 2009, Vega gained broader popularity in Mexico through her work in television. During these years, she landed roles in the telenovela Alma de hierro as well as the telenovela Mar de amor, in which she played the lead role. In 2010, she made an appearance in an episode of the third season of the crime thriller series Mujeres Asesinas 3.

From late 2013 to mid-2014, Vega starred alongside Jaime Camil in the successful comedy-drama telenovela Qué pobres tan ricos. In November 2014, Televisa confirmed her as the lead character in Que te perdone Dios, a remake of the 2000 Mexican telenovela Abrázame muy fuerte. Co-starring Mexican actor Mark Tacher, the production began filming on November 15, 2014, in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. The program made its initial broadcast on Univision before airing on Canal de las Estrellas in 2015.

In 2017, Vega starred opposite Daniel Arenas in the telenovela Mi Marido Tiene Familia. She returned for the show's second season, making smaller appearances after the middle of the run due to being pregnant.

In her personal life, Vega started a relationship with Cuban actor Alberto Guerra in August 2013. The couple was married on November 22, 2014, during a ceremony in San Francisco, Nayarit, Mexico. Vega gave birth to her daughter, Lua, on January 11, 2017, and later gave birth to her son, Luka, on May 20, 2019.
