Tom Blyth

Tom Keir Blyth is an English actor. He is known for his roles in film and television, including starring as Coriolanus Snow in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes and playing the titular character in the series Billy the Kid.

Blyth was born in Birmingham on 2 February 1995 to Charlotte and Gavin Blyth, and spent his early childhood in Derbyshire before moving to Tockwith, North Yorkshire. After his parents divorced when he was 11, he moved to Woodthorpe, a suburb of Nottingham. He attended Arnold Hill Academy and Bilborough College. Blyth began taking an interest in acting and drama at a young age, training at Nottingham's Television Workshop and joining the National Youth Theatre, where he appeared in productions such as Twelfth Night, Hay Fever, and A Clockwork Orange. In 2016, he auditioned for the Juilliard School in New York City, graduating in 2020. During his time at Juilliard, he performed in plays including Twelfth Night and Antony and Cleopatra.

Blyth began his on-screen career in 2010 with minor supporting roles in the films Robin Hood and Pelican Blood, followed by appearances in short films such as Fibs, Fluffy, and Wash Club. He secured his first lead role playing Sid Sadowskyj in the 2018 coming-of-age film Scott and Sid. That year, he also appeared in the television short Rise and the music video for "Scars" by Hazey Eyes featuring Yoke Lore.

Following his graduation from Juilliard, Blyth portrayed Glen Byam Shaw in the 2021 biographical drama film Benediction. In 2022, he began playing the lead role of William Bonney in the MGM+ television series Billy the Kid, which ran through 2025. His television work in 2022 also included a guest appearance on the HBO series The Gilded Age. Blyth gained widespread attention in 2023 for starring as young Coriolanus Snow alongside Rachel Zegler in The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.

Blyth continued to take on major film roles, starring in Bull Run in 2024. In 2025, he appeared in Plainclothes, Claire Denis' The Fence, and the prison drama Wasteman. For his performance in Wasteman, Blyth earned a British Independent Film Award nomination for Best Supporting Performance. That same year, he featured in the music video for "Good Boy" by Paris Paloma. In 2026, he starred alongside Emily Bader in the Netflix romance film People We Meet on Vacation.

Blyth's upcoming projects include an appearance in an adaptation of Ernest Hemingway's novel A Farewell to Arms, as well as making his Broadway debut playing Daniel Kaffee in A Few Good Men at the Vivian Beaumont Theater.
