Sykkuno

Thomas, professionally recognized as Sykkuno, is an American content creator and digital broadcaster. Born on June 4, 1991, in Southern California, he is of Chinese and Vietnamese ancestry and grew up alongside two sisters. He is widely recognized for hosting live online broadcasts centered on video games, including titles such as League of Legends, Among Us, Valorant, Minecraft, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Grand Theft Auto V, and PEAK.

Sykkuno began his online career in 2011 by making YouTube videos featuring commentary and gameplay for League of Legends on an early channel called Sykku. In 2012, he established his self-titled channel, Sykkuno, which evolved into his primary YouTube location for posting highlights and compilation videos derived from his livestreams. Although he registered his Twitch account in November 2011, he did not begin broadcasting on a regular schedule until April 2019, following encouragement from fellow creator LilyPichu of OfflineTV. Viewers rapidly gravitated toward his calm, wholesome, and relaxed personality.

During his early years as a content creator, Sykkuno provided commentary without displaying his physical appearance on camera. He revealed his face for the first time during a live broadcast in February 2020 after adopting a webcam setup. Around this period, his broadcasting focus expanded beyond League of Legends to encompass collaborative multiplayer gaming with other online figures, particularly in titles like Among Us and Grand Theft Auto V.

As his visibility grew, Sykkuno took part in several prominent public events. In April 2021, he joined a charitable Among Us stream on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon alongside musicians from The Roots, actors Gaten Matarazzo and Noah Schnapp, and streamers Corpse Husband and Valkyrae, raising funds for Feeding America. In September 2021, he ran an impromptu subathon stream on Twitch. After completing his final Twitch broadcast of that era on April 30, 2022, Sykkuno announced an exclusive streaming agreement with YouTube in May 2022. Later that year, in August 2022, he secured talent representation with United Talent Agency.

Following the conclusion of his YouTube agreement, Sykkuno resumed streaming on Twitch in May 2024. In October 2024, he featured in a public Discord call streamed on politician Bernie Sanders' YouTube channel, appearing alongside figures such as Mark Hamill, Mark Cuban, Pokimane, Hasan Piker, Valkyrae, AustinShow, Austin Evans, and Thew Parkvisal.

In April 2026, Sykkuno faced public allegations regarding his personal life after VTuber HemomalVT and creators Dotty, NamiKitsunami, and Leia outlined claims of romantic misrepresentation and undisclosed relationships. On April 16, 2026, Sykkuno and his partner issued a shared statement acknowledging misrepresentation and unfaithfulness while disputing certain details, and he confirmed his ongoing relationship. He temporarily stepped away from broadcasting on an indefinite break to address personal matters before returning to streaming in June 2026.
