Sonja Morgan

Sonja Morgan (born November 25, 1963) is an American television personality, socialite, and entrepreneur. Raised in upstate New York, she attended the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, where she earned a degree in marketing. Before gaining television prominence, she worked as an interior director, event planner, and luxury restaurant hostess in Manhattan, establishing connections within New York social and business circles.

Morgan reached national recognition in 2010 when she joined the cast of the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of New York City during its third season. She served as a main cast member for eleven seasons through 2021. Following her tenure on the show, she starred alongside fellow castmate Luann de Lesseps in the 2023 Bravo spin-off series Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, and later featured in season four of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

In addition to television, Morgan has developed various commercial and stage projects. In 2015, she launched her retail clothing and lifestyle brand, Sonja by Sonja Morgan. She also expanded into live performance with Sonja in Your City, a touring cabaret, comedy, and musical Q&A show performed across North America and internationally. Throughout her career, she has supported philanthropic causes including animal welfare and LGBTQ+ advocacy.
