Rhea Seehorn

Deborah Rhea Seehorn is an American actress and director. She gained widespread recognition for portraying attorney Kim Wexler in the AMC legal drama series Better Call Saul, which aired from 2015 to 2022. She later starred as novelist Carol Sturka in the Apple TV science fiction thriller series Pluribus, beginning in 2025. Over the course of her television and screen career, she has earned critical acclaim and multiple major industry honors.

Seehorn was born on May 12, 1972, in Norfolk, Virginia. Her mother worked as an executive assistant for the United States Navy, and her father was a counterintelligence agent for the Naval Investigative Service. Because of her father's work, her family moved often during her childhood, living in Washington, D.C., Arizona, and Japan. Following her parents' divorce, she grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, with her mother and older sister. Her father passed away when she was eighteen. Following family tradition, she initially practiced painting, drawing, and architecture, but her focus shifted to acting while attending George Mason University. She adopted her middle name, Rhea, during her youth.

While in college, Seehorn actively pursued theatrical work in the Washington, D.C., area, balancing performance roles with various industry jobs and corporate instructional videos. She eventually transitioned to television, frequently landing roles as quick-witted, sarcastic figures. In 2009, she headlined the Fox pilot Eva Adams, an adaptation of an Argentine telenovela that was ultimately not ordered to series. Her early career also encompassed independent films such as Riders and Floating, alongside extensive stage credits, including a Broadway understudy role in 45 Seconds from Broadway and productions with the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company.

In May 2014, Seehorn was cast in Better Call Saul as attorney Kim Wexler, the romantic partner of main character Jimmy McGill. The show premiered in 2015 and ran for six seasons, during which Seehorn received extensive praise for her performance. In 2022, she expanded her career into directing by helming an episode during the show's final season. That same year, she co-created, directed, and starred in the AMC short-form web series Cooper's Bar.

Following her work on Better Call Saul, Seehorn appeared in the 2021 horror-thriller film Things Heard & Seen. In 2025, she took on the lead role in the Apple TV series Pluribus, portraying an author immune to a global alien virus that transforms humanity into a hive mind. Her performances across these projects earned her a Golden Globe Award, Satellite Awards, a Saturn Award, multiple Television Critics Association Awards, Critics' Choice Television Awards, and several Primetime Emmy nominations.

Seehorn has been in a relationship with real estate agent Graham Larson since 2013, and the couple became engaged in 2015. She resides in Los Angeles with Larson and his two sons. While filming Better Call Saul in New Mexico, she shared a residence in Albuquerque with fellow cast members Bob Odenkirk and Patrick Fabian.
