Born on 1 May 1995 in Delhi, Madan attended Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, New Delhi. She later earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi.
Madan began her acting career on television, making her debut in the daily soap opera Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi on Colors TV, where she played the lead role of Ishaani Vaghela from June 2014 to February 2016. During her time on the show, she participated in the dance reality series Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 8 in 2015. In 2017, she appeared in the Indonesian television series Cinta di Pangkuan Himalaya.
Madan transitioned to feature films with her debut in Vishal Bhardwaj's drama Pataakha (2018), winning the Screen Award for Best Female Debut. She subsequently starred in Vasan Bala's action comedy Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota (2018), which screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and the MAMI Film Festival, and appeared in the comedy-drama Angrezi Medium (2020). In 2021, she starred in the romantic film Shiddat, appeared in the music video Ni Jana, and ventured into web series with roles in Ray and Feels Like Ishq, winning a Filmfare OTT Award for Ray. She also made a guest appearance in the film Monica, O My Darling in 2022.
Her later work includes roles in the feature films Kuttey (2023), Kacchey Limbu, and Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video (2023), as well as Homi Adajania's crime drama series Saas, Bahu Aur Flamingo (2023). She was cast as the titular character in the film Sanaa and appeared alongside Akshay Kumar in Sarfira, released in July 2024.
In addition to her acting projects, Madan has served as a celebrity endorser for brands such as Glow & Lovely and Lay's. She became vegan in 2023 and participated in a PETA India campaign promoting a vegan lifestyle.
