Ozzy Lusth

Oscar "Ozzy" Lusth is an American reality television personality of Mestizo descent, best known for his multiple appearances on the reality competition series Survivor. Born on August 23, 1981, in Guanajuato, Mexico, he relocated with his family to Durham, North Carolina, during his early childhood and later moved to Mountain View, California, where he attended high school. After graduating, he studied at Santa Barbara City College before moving to the Los Angeles area.

Lusth began his television career on Survivor: Cook Islands, where his strength in aquatic and balance challenges earned him five individual immunity victories. He finished as the season's runner-up and received a Mercury Mariner after being voted the season's favorite player. He returned to the franchise for Survivor: Micronesia — Fans vs. Favorites, where he joined a core alliance and discovered a hidden immunity idol before being voted out and joining the jury. During this period, he also competed on the second season of American Ninja Warrior.

He made his third appearance in Survivor: South Pacific, executing an unprecedented strategy by volunteering to be voted out to Redemption Island to win duels and assist his allies. Though he set a single-season record by being voted out three times, he advanced to the final jury and received the Sprint Player of the Season cash prize. Lusth returned for Survivor: Game Changers, becoming one of a select few players to compete on four seasons and the first to reach the merge stage four times.

Lusth later competed on Survivor 50: In the Hands of the Fans, where he finished in eighth place after being eliminated in the eleventh episode. Outside of his core franchise appearances, he also participated in a special Survivor-themed episode of the game show The Price Is Right.

Over the course of his television career, Lusth earned several industry accolades, including induction into the Xfinity Survivor Hall of Fame in 2011. He achieved high rankings in CBS Watch magazine viewer polls for top castaways and memorable moments, and he temporarily held the franchise record for the highest cumulative number of days spent actively competing in the game.
