Ninel Conde

Ninel Herrera Conde is a Mexican singer, actress, model, and television host. She is recognized for her extensive career in Latin American entertainment, particularly for her performances in prominent television series and her contributions to Mexican music. Over the course of her career, she has established a major presence across multiple media platforms, gaining widespread visibility for her roles in popular telenovelas such as Rebelde, Fuego en la sangre, Mar de amor, and Porque el amor manda.

Conde released her debut studio album, titled Ninel Conde, in 2003. The project featured the track "Callados," a duet with singer José Manuel Figueroa, and earned a nomination at the 2004 Latin Grammy Awards for Best Grupero Album. In 2004, she entered reality television as a contestant on the third edition of Big Brother VIP, remaining in the show for 43 days before being voted off. Later that year, she began portraying Alma Rey in the Pedro Damián-produced series Rebelde, a role she played from 2004 to 2006. The performance became her most notable acting role, expanding her career international recognition into Chile, Romania, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Spain, and Croatia, as well as securing a nomination for Best Lead Actress at the 2006 TVyNovelas Awards.

Following her success on Rebelde, Conde released her second album, La Rebelde, in 2005, which produced singles including "Todo conmigo," "Ingrato," "Que no te asombre," and "Tú." She also appeared in the American comedy-drama series Ugly Betty, playing an actress on a fictional telenovela, and participated in the reality competition El Show de los Sueños alongside performers such as Pee Wee, Kalimba Marichal, Gloria Trevi, DJ Flex/Nigga, Mariana Seoane, and Priscila.

Conde continued acting in major television dramas, appearing as Rosario Montes in the 2008 series Fuego en la sangre alongside Adela Noriega and Eduardo Yañez, a role that earned her a TVyNovelas Award nomination for Best Actress Co-star. In August 2009, she joined the cast of Natalie Lartilleux's telenovela Mar de amor as the main antagonist Coral, receiving a nomination for Best Actress Antagonistic. She later played Discua Paz De La Soledad in the 2012 soap opera Porque el amor manda and served as a judge on the fourth season of Univision's Mira quién baila starting in September 2013.

In June 2025, Conde reprised her Rebelde role as Alma Rey alongside Anahí and Itatí Cantoral in the trailer for singer Karol G's album Tropicoqueta. She was also cast in the third season of the reality series La casa de los famosos México, set to premiere on Las Estrellas and Canal 5 on July 27, 2025. In her personal life, Conde was married to actor Ari Telch from 1996 to 1998, and they have a daughter, Sofía, born May 7, 1997. She married Juan Zepeda on December 7, 2007; they separated in August 2013, and it was later reported in 2015 that the marriage was invalid because Zepeda was already married to María Sol Corral. Conde dated businessman Giovanni Medina beginning in October 2013, and their son Emmanuel was born on October 21, 2014. On October 28, 2020, she married Larry Ramos. Conde also initiated a moral damage lawsuit against author Anabel Hernández regarding published statements about a past relationship with Arturo Beltrán Leyva, a lawsuit Conde lost in 2024.
