Kate Bock

Kate Lynne Love (née Bock) is a Canadian model born on January 30, 1988, in Vancouver. She is widely known for her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, beginning in 2013, and for appearing on the publication's cover in 2020 alongside Olivia Culpo and Jasmine Sanders.

Growing up in Canada, Bock attended a French immersion school and speaks fluent French. She was active in sports during her youth, playing baseball, soccer, field hockey, and participating in swimming. She is Jewish.

Bock was discovered at age 12 while at a local swimming pool in Vancouver. Shortly after, she signed a modeling contract and traveled to Santa Barbara for a photo shoot with Abercrombie Kids. At the age of 18, she moved to Paris to pursue her career further.

Over the course of her career, Bock has appeared in publications such as Vogue Germany, Elle Italy, and Glamour Hungary. She has also landed cover features for magazines including Elle Canada, Maxim, Ocean Drive, Fitness, Grazia Australia, and Glow UK. Additionally, she appeared in the 2011 music video for the song "Jack Sparrow" by the comedy troupe The Lonely Island, parodying the character Elvira Hancock.

She has been featured in major advertising campaigns for brands such as Victoria's Secret, Guess, L'Oréal, Ralph Lauren, Kérastase, Banana Republic, and Brooks Brothers. Beyond modeling, she designed a jewelry line named Cattura and launched a five-style swimwear capsule collection in December 2021 with the Australian brand Bond-Eye.

In 2021, Bock expanded into corporate roles, serving as the chief brand officer for the hard sparkling water brand Pompette and working as a creative consultant for the shopping application Verishop.

In her personal life, Bock began dating professional basketball player Kevin Love and became engaged to him on January 31, 2021. The couple married in late June 2022 at the New York Public Library in a ceremony themed after The Great Gatsby. They have two daughters, James and Leighton, the first of whom was born in June 2023 during the NBA Finals.
