In 2015, he published his debut cookbook, "Lean in 15: 15-Minute Meals," which became a major bestseller across the United Kingdom. During the 2020 global pandemic lockdowns, Wicks initiated "PE with Joe," a daily live-streamed fitness program tailored for children and families learning from home. The series earned him a Guinness World Record for the most-viewed fitness live stream on YouTube and raised significant charitable donations for the National Health Service (NHS). In recognition of his fitness services and public contributions during the health crisis, Wicks was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2020.
