Fajah Lourens

Fajah Hanna Nicole Lourens (born July 3, 1981) is a Dutch actress, fitness influencer, author, DJ, and entrepreneur. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, she initially gained national fame for her acting roles on Dutch television before transitioning into a prominent career as a fitness authority, lifestyle coach, and business owner.

Early Acting and Media Career

Lourens began her entertainment career in the early 2000s, achieving her major breakthrough in 2002 when she was cast as Yasmin Fuentes in the long-running Dutch soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden (GTST). She played the role for three seasons through 2005, establishing herself in the Dutch media landscape. Following her television breakout, Lourens appeared in several popular series and feature films, including Costa!, Shouf Shouf!, Amsterdam Heavy (2011), and Als je verliefd wordt (2012). She also showcased her multi-talented repertoire by competing in television reality programs such as So You Wanna Be a Popstar in 2007 and reaching the finals of Expeditie Robinson in 2012. Additionally, she expanded into music in 2011, performing as a club DJ and music producer under stage names such as Faya.

Fitness Empire and Author Success

Following her participation in physical reality television shows, Lourens turned her personal passion for health and wellness into a full-scale digital brand. In 2013, she launched the online fitness platform Mykillerbodymotivation (MKBM), sharing workout regimens, dietary advice, and lifestyle tips with a growing online community. In 2016, she published her debut health book, The Killerbody Plan (Killerbody Dieet), which debuted at number one on the Dutch bestseller list and remained on the chart for over 70 weeks. Lourens built on this success with subsequent publications, including Killerbody 2 (2017) and Killerbody 3: Back in Shape (2018). Her business ventures under the MKBM brand have expanded to include athletic apparel, dietary supplements, and health coaching.

Personal Life

Lourens was born and raised in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and has maintained a diverse career across acting, music, and health coaching. She is a mother of two children, a daughter named Irem and a son named Shai. Alongside her commercial fitness projects, Lourens conducts seminars, produces health-focused digital media, and practices equine-assisted personal development coaching.
