Born in Los Angeles on April 8, 1994, Mandi is of mixed heritage, with Chilean roots on her mother's side and Iranian lineage on her father's side. Growing up in a multicultural environment, she became fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, French, and Persian. She also comes from a family with ties to the entertainment industry, including her cousin, Nazanin Mandi.

Early in her screen career, Mandi built her experience by securing guest appearances and small roles on prominent network television programs, such as Agent X, Hawaii Five-0, NCIS, and NCIS: Los Angeles. During this period, she also appeared in digital and smaller-scale productions, including the series The Interns and In the Vault.

Mandi transitioned to film acting by landing the leading role in the feature project Baja. Shortly thereafter, her career reached a major turning point when she was cast as Daniela "Dani" Núñez in The L Word: Generation Q, earning significant appreciation from viewers for her performance in the series.

Following her success on television, Mandi continued to take on high-profile projects. In 2022, she starred as Francesca "Franki" Murray in the television film Love, Classified. She further expanded her film portfolio by portraying Iranian judoka Leila Hosseini in the political thriller film Tatami, sharing the screen with co-director Zar Amir Ebrahimi in a project co-helmed by Academy Award-winning filmmaker Guy Nattiv. The film premiered at the 80th Venice International Film Festival on September 2, 2023.

Mandi's subsequent acting work includes playing Noor Taheri in the second season of the series The Night Agent. Additionally, she lent her voice to the 2026 audiobook production Speak Now, written by Ash Perez.
