Angelique Boyer

Angelique Monique-Paulette Boyer Rousseau, known professionally as Angelique Boyer, is a Mexican actress born on July 4, 1988. She is widely recognized for her performances in prominent television soap operas, including Rebelde and Teresa.

Boyer was born in Saint-Claude, Jura, France, and relocated to Mexico with her family when she was two years old. Her musical involvement began in 2001 when she joined the group Rabanitos Verdes, which sang the opening theme for the children's telenovela María Belén. She made her television acting debut in 2004 as Anette in the soap opera Corazones al límite.

In 2004, Boyer gained further recognition portraying Vico in the soap opera Rebelde. While working on the show, she formed the pop group C3Q'S, also known as Citricus, alongside co-stars Estefanía Villarreal and Zoraida Gómez, releasing the single "No Me Importa" in 2005. Following Rebelde, she auditioned for the show Bailando por la Boda de mis Sueños. She continued her television work with roles in Muchachitas como tú in 2007 as Margarita and Alma de Hierro in 2008 as Sandra "Sandy" Hierro Jiménez.

Boyer transitioned into mature roles in 2009, starring in the crime drama series Mujeres Asesinas 2 in the episode "Soledad Cautiva" as Soledad Oropeza "Cindy." That same year, she played Jimena in the telenovela Corazón salvaje. In 2010, Boyer secured her first starring role playing the title character Teresa Chávez Aguirre in Teresa alongside Aarón Díaz and Sebastián Rulli. She subsequently performed in the theatre production Ausencia de Dios alongside Raquel Olmedo and Jacqueline Andere.

In 2012, Boyer starred in the telenovela Abismo de pasión with David Zepeda. She was then chosen by producer Angelli Nesma Medina to portray Montserrat in the 2013 telenovela Lo que la vida me robó alongside Sebastián Rulli and Luis Roberto Guzmán. In 2016, she worked again with Medina on Tres veces Ana, portraying the triplet sisters Ana Lucía, Ana Laura, and Ana Letícia alongside Rulli, Zepeda, and Pedro Moreno.

In 2018, Boyer starred in Amar a muerte alongside Michel Brown and Alexis Ayala. Producer Giselle González cast her as Elisa Cantú in the 2020 soap opera Imperio de mentiras. In 2021, she was cast by Rosy Ocampo to star as molecular biologist Renata in Vencer el pasado alongside Sebastián Rulli and Horacio Pancheri.
