Born Wisdom Uduebor on April 4, 2001, in Nigeria, Kaye relocated with his family to Houston, Texas, at the age of four. Growing up in Texas, he developed an interest in visual arts, photography, and personal style during high school, drawing inspiration from high-fashion designers such as Hedi Slimane and Rick Owens. Kaye attended Fulshear High School before briefly pursuing higher education at Texas State University, where he initially studied electrical engineering before pausing his studies to focus full-time on his creative career in fashion and digital media production.

Career

Kaye joined TikTok in January 2020 under the username @wisdm8 and gained widespread recognition after participating in the viral "Vogue Challenge" later that year. His editorial-style outfit videos, thematic styling concepts, and pop-culture-inspired looks—such as outfits based on Marvel characters, anime, and international flags—propelled his rapid online growth. Recognizing his distinct vision, IMG Models scouted Kaye through social media, signing him in August 2020.
