Virginia Fonseca

Virginia Pimenta da Fonseca Serrão Costa, known professionally as Virginia Fonseca or simply Virginia, is a Brazilian-American digital influencer, entrepreneur, and television presenter born on April 6, 1999. Although she holds citizenship in the United States, she is of Portuguese descent and moved to Brazil early in life. She has stated that she does not speak English and has not returned to her country of birth since her initial relocation.

Her path as an online content creator began in 2016 at age sixteen when she started publishing videos on YouTube. Her channel quickly reached 100,000 subscribers following her third video, which featured a playlist of Brazilian funk music. After returning to Brazil in 2017, a short-lived venture as a disc jockey proved unsuccessful, prompting her to join creator Pedro Rezende's talent agency, ADR. Appearing in games and challenges alongside Rezende, along with their subsequent romantic involvement, substantially increased her digital audience.

In 2020, Fonseca concluded her personal relationship and business contract with Rezende, incurring a two million Brazilian reais fine for breaching her agreement with the agency. That same year, she revealed her relationship with Brazilian country vocalist Zé Felipe, featuring as a dancer and model in his music videos and creating choreography for his releases. The couple married in a private domestic ceremony in March 2021 and went on to have three children: daughters Maria Alice and Maria Flor, and son José Leonardo. Fonseca and Zé Felipe announced their separation in May 2025.

Leveraging her online audience, Fonseca launched multiple commercial ventures in 2021, including the advertising firm Talismã Digital, the cosmetics brand WePink, and the aesthetic clinic SK Aesthetic, which she sold the following year. In 2022, she expanded into children's hygiene products by establishing Maria's Baby by Virginia Fonseca. She moved into broadcasting in 2023 upon being hired by the Brazilian television network SBT, premiering her weekly entertainment show, Sabadou com Virginia, on her twenty-fifth birthday in April 2024.

Fonseca's commercial activities and promotional work have frequently attracted public debate. Critics raised concerns regarding WePink's makeup products over quality claims, and her children's line faced accusations of plagiarizing the visual identity of Kylie Jenner's brand. In May 2025, she testified before a Brazilian Federal Senate Parliamentary Inquiry Commission concerning her involvement in promoting online gambling platforms on social media, an appearance that drew significant media attention and public discussion regarding her advertising practices.
