Ronnie Coleman

Ronald Dean Coleman is an American former professional bodybuilder widely recognized as one of the most prominent figures in the history of the sport. He is best known for winning eight consecutive Mr. Olympia titles from 1998 to 2005, sharing the record for the most victories in the event's history alongside Lee Haney. Over the course of his professional career, Coleman earned 26 IFBB professional titles, establishing a record for total wins that stood for several years.

Born in Monroe, Louisiana, in 1964, Coleman attended Grambling State University, where he played college football and graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1989. Following graduation, he moved to Texas and served as a police officer in Arlington from 1989 until 2000, continuing as a reserve officer until 2003. He began his amateur bodybuilding career after being introduced to Metroflex Gym in Arlington, eventually winning his professional card at the 1991 IFBB World Amateur Championships.

Beyond his competitive achievements, Coleman launched his own sports nutrition brand, the Ronnie Coleman Signature Series, which manufactures workout supplements and apparel. He has been honored with multiple career distinctions, including induction into the International Sports Hall of Fame in 2016 and receiving the Arnold Classic Lifetime Achievement Award in 2021. He remains active in fitness culture through business ventures, promotional appearances, and digital media.
