Nadine Lustre

Nadine Alexis Paguia Lustre is a Filipino actress, singer, dancer, and advocate born on October 31, 1993. Widely recognized for her work in Philippine film and music, her motion pictures have grossed ₱1.28 billion at the box office. Her career achievements include six FAMAS Awards, a Gawad Urian Award, five Box Office Entertainment Awards, four Metro Manila Film Festival Awards, thirteen Myx Music Awards, and a PMPC Star Award for Music. In 2022, Preview magazine named her among the 50 most influential personalities in the country.

Raised in Quezon City, Philippines, Lustre is the eldest of four children born to Myraquel Paguia-Lustre and Ulysses Lustre, a mechanical engineer. She completed her primary schooling at Diliman Preparatory School and subsequently majored in film at Colegio de San Lorenzo along Congressional Avenue in Quezon City.

Lustre began working in television at age eight as a host on RPN's children's program Storyland and as a child presenter for Disney Channel Asia in the Philippines. She took on roles in youth shows like TV5's Bagets, appeared on GMA Network's SOP Rules, and played minor parts in films such as Petrang Kabayo, Who's That Girl?, and When the Love is Gone. In 2009, she debuted as a member of Viva Entertainment's girl group Pop Girls before departing to establish a solo career.

Her career breakthrough occurred in 2014 when she was selected to star as Reah "Eya" Rodriguez in the romantic comedy Diary ng Panget alongside James Reid. The film's success led to an exclusive ABS-CBN contract establishing Lustre and Reid as an onscreen and real-life partnership. The duo collaborated on multiple film projects, including Talk Back and You're Dead, Para sa Hopeless Romantic, Beauty and the Bestie, This Time, and the drama series On the Wings of Love. Her performance in the 2018 romantic film Never Not Love You earned top acting honors from FAMAS, the Gawad Urian, and the Young Critics' Circle.

Lustre expanded into non-partnered cinematic roles, starring in the 2019 magic realism film Ulan—which won her a regional Best Actress award at the Asian Academy Creative Awards—and the dance musical Indak. She secured a second FAMAS Best Actress award for the 2022 suspense drama Greed and won the Metro Manila Film Festival Best Actress award for her performance in the techno-horror film Deleter. Her later projects include the folk horror film Nokturno, the drama Uninvited, which earned her a FAMAS Best Supporting Actress award, and the comedy film Call Me Mother.

In her musical career, Lustre released a self-titled EP in 2014 featuring the single "Me and You," which achieved Titanium status from Australia's SBS PopAsia. After releasing several singles and collaborative mixtapes with Careless Music, she issued her debut visual studio album, Wildest Dreams, in 2020. Following her departure from the label in 2022, she released standalone tracks, including "Overgrown" in 2023 and "Personal" in 2026.

Beyond acting and music, Lustre launched her own fragrance, Luster, and her cosmetics line, Lustrous, becoming the first local Filipino celebrity to release a full cosmetics range with an international brand. She was named FHM Philippines' "Sexiest Woman" in 2017 and served as the first Filipino ambassador for the fashion company H&M. Her philanthropic efforts focus primarily on mental health awareness and environmental sustainability.
