Michael Le

Michael Le, widely known online as JustMaiko, is an American dancer, choreographer, and digital content creator who rose to international prominence through his viral short-form dance videos. Born on March 19, 2000, in West Palm Beach, Florida, he became one of the most followed figures on TikTok, celebrated for his inventive choreography, energetic public performances, and collaborative content. Beyond individual fame, Le has built a multi-platform media brand alongside his family and creative collaborators.

Early Life and Dance Origins

Growing up in Florida, Le discovered his passion for dance at age twelve after attending his first dance class, drawing inspiration from iconic hip-hop and Asian-American dance crews. He taught himself various styles, including hip-hop, tutting, and freestyle movements, before becoming a dance instructor in West Palm Beach during his teenage years. To share his original routines, he began posting short tutorials and choreography clips to YouTube and Musical.ly, laying the groundwork for his eventual transition to TikTok when the platform gained widespread global popularity.

Rise to Social Media Prominence

Le’s breakout success arrived on TikTok under the handle @justmaiko, where his high-energy dance routines and public performances routinely garnered millions of views. His viral videos—most notably choreography filmed on public escalators and in retail spaces to trending songs like Hips Don't Lie and Dream Girl—helped establish him as one of the platform's leading dance creators. By combining precise technique, charismatic presentation, and accessible tutorials, Le amassed a massive digital audience exceeding 50 million followers on TikTok and over 2 million on Instagram.

Content Expansion and Family Ventures

Beyond his main dance channels, Le expanded his digital footprint by founding the content collective known as the Shluv House and collaborating closely with his family. His mother, Tina, and younger siblings—Tiffany, Jonathan, and Daniel—frequently feature in his videos and operate their own social media channels. On YouTube, under the handle @JustMaiko, Le publishes longer-form dance battles, vlogs, and creative challenges. He has also ventured into gaming and technology content, further broadening his creative endeavors.
