Jujubee

Airline Inthyrath, professionally recognized as Jujubee, is an American drag performer, recording artist, and television personality. Born on June 21, 1984, in Boston, Massachusetts, she grew up in a Laotian Buddhist household. During her childhood, she spent time living in both Fresno, California, and Lowell, Massachusetts. At age 15, she experienced the loss of her father, and her mother departed the family the same year, leaving Inthyrath and her two sisters. She pursued her secondary education at Lowell High School before completing a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre arts at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Her drag career was guided by her drag mother, Boston entertainer Karisma Geneva-Jackson Tae.

Inthyrath gained public recognition in 2010 when she competed on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race at the age of 25, securing a third-place finish. Following her initial run, she appeared across all three seasons of the spin-off series RuPaul's Drag U from 2010 to 2012, serving as a mentor. Her work on reality television earned her a nomination for a NewNowNext Award in 2010. She returned to competition in 2012 for the inaugural season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, teaming with fellow performer Raven as Team Rujubee and reaching the finale to place third/fourth.

Throughout the 2010s, Jujubee expanded her television and media appearances. She featured in music videos for artists such as RuPaul, Xelle, and Blair St. Clair, and was depicted in the mobile game RuPaul's Drag Race: Dragopolis 2.0. She also participated in an educational advertising campaign centered on HIV/AIDS awareness. In 2019, she joined the cast of the makeover show Drag Me Down the Aisle, which was later broadcast as Dragnificent. The following year, she portrayed the character Lee St. Lee in the scripted Netflix series AJ and the Queen.

In 2020, Jujubee returned for the fifth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars, winning a main hotel suite design challenge and finishing in the top three. This marked her third finale appearance across the franchise. The following year, she competed on the international vocal competition series Queen of the Universe. In 2022, she joined the cast of RuPaul's Drag Race: UK vs. the World, becoming the first contestant in the franchise's history to compete across four separate seasons and reach four finals. That same year, she appeared on RuPaul's Secret Celebrity Drag Race and was featured in a photoshoot for Paper magazine.

In addition to television, Jujubee has developed a career in music and podcasting. She released her debut extended play record, Good Juju: Vol. 1, in June 2020, followed by Good Juju: Vol. 2 in July 2020. In 2022, she performed as The Tigress on the cast recording for Alaska's Drag: The Musical, and later announced a 2024 collaborative single titled Til Death Becomes Us with Trinity the Tuck. From 2022 to 2023, she served as the host and matchmaker for the blind-dating podcast Queen of Hearts. She also joined the cast of the actual-play show Dimension 20 for its Dungeons and Drag Queens series, portraying the character Twyla in 2023 and reprising the role in 2025.
