Jonathan Lipnicki

Jonathan William Lipnicki is an American actor known for his roles as a child performer. He gained recognition for his early appearances in feature films such as Jerry Maguire, Stuart Little, Stuart Little 2, The Little Vampire, and Like Mike. In addition to his film work, Lipnicki has acted in television series including Dawson's Creek on The WB and Meego on CBS.

Lipnicki was born on October 22, 1990, in Westlake Village, California, to Joseph Lipnicki and Rhonda Rosen. He has an older sister named Alexis. His father owns the mixed martial arts promotion firm Fight Sports Entertainment. Raised in a Jewish family, Lipnicki had a Bar Mitzvah. He was educated at Agoura High School, a public secondary school in Agoura Hills, Los Angeles County, California.

Lipnicki made his film debut playing the son of a single parent in Jerry Maguire in 1996. Following this debut, he appeared on television programs including The Single Guy, The Jeff Foxworthy Show, Dawson's Creek, and the 1997 sitcom Meego. He later played George Little in the 1999 film Stuart Little and its 2002 sequel Stuart Little 2.

Lipnicki played the lead character Tony Thompson in the 2000 film The Little Vampire and co-starred with hip-hop rapper Bow Wow in the 2002 sports film Like Mike, which was released two weeks prior to Stuart Little 2. These films performed relatively well in theaters and brought Lipnicki recognition among preteen audiences. Over time, he shifted his focus primarily toward independent films, while also appearing in Jamie Kennedy's Blowin' Up, When Zachary Beaver Came to Town, and the series Motherlover on the YOMYOMF Network.

In his later acting projects, Lipnicki completed lead roles in the horror-thriller motion picture Broil, produced by the team behind It Follows, and the comedy-drama motion picture Pooling To Paradise alongside Taryn Manning and Jordan Carlos. He also guest-starred in Antoine Fuqua's and Philip Noyce's series The Resident. In 2022, it was announced that Lipnicki would star in the horror film Camp Pleasant Lake as the character Jasper Meadows.

Outside of screen acting, Lipnicki is a trained martial arts practitioner who holds a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and trains in mixed martial arts styles. In 2021, following an uptick in antisemitic attacks, he partnered with the security firm Magen Am to escort individuals to synagogues. In 2023, he became an executive producer at Buffalo 8 Productions, and he currently resides in Oklahoma.

Lipnicki has also participated in various charitable and advocacy initiatives. He has spoken on behalf of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation and actively worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, which named him one of its Heroes of 2001 when he was ten years old. His philanthropic involvement also includes the Starlight Children Foundation, the NBA's Read to Achieve program, Pediatric Chiropractic, Kids Day America/International, and animal rights groups such as Pets and Their Stars and Nutz for Mutts.
