Jeremy Zucker

Jeremy Scott Zucker (born March 3, 1996) is an American singer, songwriter, and producer known for his contributions to bedroom pop and indie electronic music. Rising to prominence with hit singles such as "comethru" and "all the kids are depressed," he has developed a distinctive intimate sonic style combining acoustic instrumentation with modern digital production.

Early Life and Education

Born and raised in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, Zucker grew up in a musical family alongside two older brothers. He began playing piano at a young age, later learning guitar and writing original songs while attending Ramapo High School, where he played in a local band called Foreshadows. Despite his strong creative leanings, Zucker initially pursued a scientific career path, enrolling at Colorado College. He graduated in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in molecular biology and worked briefly as a snowboard instructor before deciding to pursue a full-time career in the music industry.

Music Career and Breakthrough

Zucker began self-releasing music during his college years, issuing early EPs including Beach Island in 2015 and Breathe in 2016. His 2017 track "Heavy" gained wider attention following a remix by musician Blackbear, leading to their joint single "Talk Is Overrated." After signing with Republic Records, Zucker released his breakout single "comethru" in 2018, which was written in his childhood home after graduating from college. The song accumulated hundreds of millions of streams globally. He subsequently released his debut studio album, Love Is Not Dying, in April 2020, followed by his second studio album, Crusher, in 2021, and his third album, Garden State, in 2025.

Collaborations and Personal Life

A defining element of Zucker's career is his frequent creative collaboration with singer-songwriter Chelsea Cutler. The duo released their debut joint EP, Brent, in 2019, anchored by the platinum-certified single "you were good to me." They continued their shared catalog with Brent II in 2021 and Brent III in 2024, performing joint live tours designed around intimate acoustic arrangements. In addition to his studio recordings, Zucker engages fans on social media, accumulating over 539,000 followers on his official Instagram account. In June 2024, Zucker married model and content creator Mathilda Lou Roettger.
