Emilie Nereng

Emilie Voe Nereng (born Emilie Marie Nereng on November 3, 1995) is a Norwegian influencer, nutrition advisor, author, and television personality. Born in Hønefoss, Norway, she first rose to prominence as a teenage blogging sensation under the nickname 'Voe.' She later completed formal studies in nutrition and pivoted her career toward healthy lifestyle advice, culinary inspiration, and digital content creation, becoming one of Norway's most recognized wellness figures.

Early Blogging Career

Nereng began blogging in March 2009 at age thirteen, posting about lifestyle, fashion, and daily student life. Her blog quickly expanded its readership, achieving over three million hits monthly and making her blog one of the most visited websites in Norway between 2009 and 2010. During this period, she worked as a model for popular Norwegian youth magazines such as Topp and Julia, competed in national cheerleading competitions, and gave a guest lecture on social media strategy at Lillehammer University College at age fourteen. Facing intense public scrutiny and online harassment, Nereng temporarily stepped back from blogging in early 2011, ultimately winding down her original platform to focus on personal development and higher education.

Health, Fitness, and Content Creation

After moving to Oslo, Nereng pursued academic credentials, earning a bachelor's degree in nutrition from Høyskolen Kristiania. She relaunched her public presence around healthy eating, food education, and sustainable wellness habits. Operating primarily under the handle @emilienutrition across social media platforms, she delivers nutritious recipes, culinary tutorials, and practical lifestyle advice to a massive audience. Her health platform led to cookbook publishing, podcast hosting, commercial partnerships, and digital food series. In 2023, her contributions to digital culinary culture were formally recognized when she was awarded Norway's Food Influencer of the Year (Årets matinfluencer).

Television Work and Personal Life

Alongside her digital success, Nereng has established a steady presence on Norwegian television. She starred in the docuseries Bloggerne, competed in Skal vi danse (Norway's version of Dancing with the Stars), and appeared on popular reality and competition shows including 71° nord, Kompani Lauritzen, Farmen kjendis, and Maskorama. Nereng resides in Oslo, Norway. In July 2025, she married business administrator Michael Hansson in Split, Croatia.
