Ellie Thumann

Ellie Thumann is an American lifestyle content creator, fashion influencer, and professional model who first established a major public following through online video platforms. Born on October 29, 2001, in Phoenix, Arizona, she began posting creative digital media during her early teenage years, gradually building an audience around beauty routines, outfit ideas, and personal vlogs. Over time, Thumann successfully bridged the space between social media creation and commercial modeling, establishing herself as a recognized personality within fashion, lifestyle, and beauty media circles.

Background and Early Content Creation

Thumann launched her official YouTube channel in March 2014, originally creating video content under the name ElliexoxoFashion. Her initial uploads included simple do-it-yourself crafting tutorials, back-to-school preparation videos, and personal introduction vlogs. As her audience expanded, she broadened her output to encompass room makeovers, wardrobe hauls, seasonal style guides, and lifestyle updates. Her engaging video style helped her assemble a dedicated community of followers, often referred to as her Elliephants. By 2019, her growing digital presence earned her recognition as a Vlogger of the Year finalist at the Shorty Awards.

Modeling and Fashion Collaborations

Leveraging her digital visibility, Thumann expanded her career into high-fashion and commercial modeling. She secured representation with top modeling agencies, including IMG Models and Next Model Management, facilitating opportunities with major international brands. Over the course of her modeling career, she has participated in campaigns, promotional events, and brand partnerships with retail and luxury names such as Sephora, Garage Clothing, Converse, Dior, and Chanel. In 2023, she reached a key milestone in her print modeling career when she was selected as a rookie for the annual Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.

Personal Life and Advocacy

Thumann was raised in Phoenix, Arizona, with her siblings, Erin and Will, both of whom occasionally appeared in her early YouTube videos. Outside of fashion shoots and video production, she actively promotes mental health awareness and personal wellness across her platforms. She frequently emphasizes the importance of maintaining work-life balance, engaging in morning routines, and prioritizing self-care amidst a busy professional schedule. She continues to divide her time between creative content production, fashion events, and commercial modeling projects across the United States.
