Apache 207

Volkan Yaman, known professionally as Apache 207, is a German rapper and singer of Turkish descent from Ludwigshafen. He is best known for his breakthrough single "Roller," which sparked a series of top-ten chart successes.

Yaman was born on 23 October 1997 in Mannheim, Germany, to a Turkish family originally from the province of Yozgat. He grew up in Ludwigshafen, where he completed his high school education and received his A-Levels in 2017.

He launched his mainstream music career independently in June 2018 with the self-released debut single "Kleine Hure." Over the following six months, he released seven additional singles without label support. In early 2019, he signed a recording contract with the musician Bausa's label, TwoSides.

His inaugural release under TwoSides was the single "Kein Problem" in April 2019. While the song initially received limited attention, its music video accumulated over eight million views on YouTube in subsequent months, and the track eventually reached number 17 on the German charts in late October 2019. He achieved his first official chart entry in Germany in May 2019 with the single "Brot nach Hause," followed by "2 Minuten," which peaked at number 35.

Apache 207 achieved a major commercial breakthrough on 23 August 2019 with the release of "Roller." The track debuted at number two in Germany before rising to the number one position the following week, while also reaching the top ten in Austria and Switzerland. His subsequent releases, "200 km/h" and the collaboration "2002" featuring Sido, also became top-ten hits. In October 2019, he secured his second German number-one single with "Wieso tust du dir das an?" and released his debut EP, titled Platte, on 25 October 2019.
