Sabre Norris

Sabre Elle Norris is an Australian content creator, former skateboarder, and surfer from Newcastle, New South Wales. Born on January 3, 2005, she is best known for her athletic achievements in skateboarding and surfing during her youth, as well as her prominent presence as part of a popular digital media family. She is the eldest of six children born to Brooke Norris and Justin Norris, an Australian Olympic swimmer and singer.

Norris gained early media attention through her athletic pursuits. In 2016, at eleven years old, she became the second-youngest surfer to participate in an open round of the Sydney International Women's Pro. Following a broadcast interview on Australia's Today Show in late 2016 that accumulated over two million views, she was invited to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, an appearance that reached forty million views.

In her athletic career, Norris achieved several notable milestones in female action sports. She became the third woman globally and the first Australian female surfer and skater to successfully land a 540-degree turn. In 2018, she secured a bronze medal in skateboarding at the X Games, where she was the first woman to successfully execute a McTwist at the event. That same year, she won the Bondi Bowl-A-Rama competition and placed second in the Vans Park Series Oceania Championships.

Norris's professional skateboarding career was brought to an end after she was diagnosed with a Chiari malformation in 2018. Despite the shift in her athletic focus, her early achievements continued to draw public interest. In 2019, she was featured in an episode of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's biographical podcast series Fierce Girls. Later, in 2021, she was featured in the documentary film Tall Poppy: A Skater's Story, which documented the life of fellow Australian skateboarder Poppy Starr Olsen.

In addition to her athletic history, Norris is widely recognized for her family's online media presence. Alongside her parents and five siblings—Sockie, Biggy, Naz, Disco, and Charm—she participates in managing and appearing across several YouTube channels. Their content typically features family vlogs, birthday celebrations, video gaming, and interactive challenges. By early 2025, the family's network of seven YouTube channels had gathered approximately 15 million combined subscribers.
