Robin Antin

Robin Antin, born July 6, 1961, in Los Angeles, California, is an American dancer, choreographer, and music group creator. Born to British immigrant parents, she is the sister of celebrity hair stylist Jonathan Antin, Neil Antin, and film director Steve Antin. Over her career, Antin expanded her work across television, recording groups, live stage acts, merchandising, and corporate brand partnerships.

In 1995, Antin founded the modern burlesque troupe the Pussycat Dolls. By 2005, she expanded the brand into an international recording group, a Las Vegas venue and floor show, merchandise, and reality television. In 2008, she launched the Pussycat Dolls Burlesque Revue. She subsequently established additional venues and revue locations, including The Pussycat Doll Dollhouse at San Diego's Keating Hotel in 2012 and the Australian Pussycat Doll Burlesque Revue at Crown Casino's Therapy Nightclub in Melbourne in 2015.

Antin went on to form several other girl groups. Through the reality series Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious, she created the group Girlicious, which released the album Rebuilt in 2010. She also formed Paradiso Girls, an international group signed to will.i.am Music Group/Interscope Records that released the single "Patron Tequila" in 2009. Additionally, Antin acted as an agent for performer Matt Goss, casting the Dirty Virgins dance troupe to accompany his Las Vegas show.

Antin subsequently launched G.R.L., originally intended as a new line-up for the Pussycat Dolls before being rebranded under managers Larry Rudolph and Adam Leber. The group achieved commercial success in the United Kingdom and Australia following their 2013 debut single "Vacation." After member Simone Battle died in September 2014, G.R.L. officially disbanded in June 2015. However, Antin and representative Matt Wynter confirmed the group's reformation in 2016 as a trio featuring Lauren Bennett, Natasha Slayton, and Jazzy Mejia, who released the singles "Kiss Myself" and "Are We Good?".

As a choreographer, Antin has worked with artists including Paris Hilton, Anastacia, Pink, the Offspring, and No Doubt, and oversaw dance ensembles for several films. She choreographed a Carl's Jr. commercial featuring Paris Hilton and appeared on her brother Jonathan's television show Blow Out. Antin served as a season one judge on Lifetime's Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, and worked as an associate choreographer and creative co-producer on the stage musical Burlesque, based on Steve Antin's 2010 film.

Antin's entrepreneurial projects include releasing a fitness DVD in December 2009 featuring performers from her various groups. In 2008, she collaborated with the La Senza Corporation to launch the lingerie line "Shhh...by Robin," which was modeled by members of Paradiso Girls and the Pussycat Dolls. Later, in 2015, Antin partnered with Australian fashion designer Kylie Gulliver to create the lifestyle clothing brand Elliot Label.
