Noah Cyrus

Noah Lindsey Cyrus (born January 8, 2000) is an American singer and actress from Nashville, Tennessee. She is the youngest child of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and producer and director Tish Cyrus, and the younger sister of performer Miley Cyrus. As a child performer, she gained early recognition voicing the title character in the English dub of the animated film Ponyo (2008) and appearing in minor roles on television shows such as Doc and Hannah Montana.

Cyrus began her acting career at age two, playing Gracie Hebert on Doc. She appeared in the DVD film Mostly Ghostly: Who Let the Ghosts Out? (2008) and was a background dancer in Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009). In addition to voicing Ponyo, she performed the English theme song alongside Frankie Jonas. Between 2009 and 2010, she co-hosted the web series The Noie and Ems Show with Emily Grace Reaves. She later returned to acting in 2021, guest-starring as Connie in an episode of the television series American Horror Stories.

In November 2016, Cyrus signed record and management deals with Records and Maverick, releasing her debut single "Make Me (Cry)" featuring Labrinth, which reached number 46 on the Billboard Hot 100. Over the following two years, she released singles such as "Stay Together", "I'm Stuck", and "Again" featuring XXXTentacion, along with collaborations involving Marshmello, Ookay, One Bit, MØ, MAX, Tanner Alexander, Matoma, and Alan Walker. Named one of Time's 30 Most Influential Teens in 2017, she opened for Katy Perry's Witness: The Tour and performed a DJ set at Emo Nite. In September 2018, following her headlining Good Cry Tour, she released her debut extended play, Good Cry.

Cyrus released her second EP, The End of Everything, in May 2020, which included the 2019 single "July". That year, she also recorded a cover of Mac Miller's "Dunno". In April 2021, she released a joint EP titled People Don't Change alongside songwriter PJ Harding, preceded by the single "Dear August". Her work during this period contributed to a nomination for Best New Artist at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards.

On September 16, 2022, Cyrus released her debut full-length album, The Hardest Part, to critical acclaim. The record was supported by singles including "I Burned LA Down", "Mr. Percocet", "Ready To Go", and "Every Beginning Ends" with Benjamin Gibbard, as well as a month-long tour in late 2022. She later released collaborations with Orville Peck and Shaboozey in 2024. Her second studio album, I Want My Loved Ones to Go with Me, was released on July 11, 2025, featuring guest artists Fleet Foxes, Ella Langley, Bill Callahan, and Blake Shelton, followed by the single "If There's a Heaven" featuring Stephen Wilson Jr. in October 2025.

Throughout her life, Cyrus has been open about her experiences with depression, anxiety, and therapy, which often inform her songwriting. She has engaged in advocacy and philanthropic efforts, including raising funds to ban horse-drawn carriages in New York City, participating in PETA campaigns, and supporting The Jed Foundation through her merchandising line The Lonely Collection and Depop clothing sales. In June 2023, she announced her engagement to German fashion designer Pinkus.
