Nabela Noor

Nabela Noor Martin (née Mohamed) is an American businesswoman and social media personality. She is best known for her YouTube channel, where she shares cosmetic product reviews, make-up tutorials, and beauty-related vlogs.

She was born on August 4, 1991, in New York to Bangladeshi immigrant parents, Zeba and Rana Mohamed. She finished high school at age 16 and subsequently enrolled in a community college. She later transferred to Pennsylvania State University, where she earned a degree in sociology.

In 2013, she launched her YouTube channel in response to a lack of representation for plus-size individuals and diversity within mainstream media and the beauty sector. Her platform features content covering beauty, self-care, lifestyle, fashion, cooking, and homemaking. Across her social media channels, she promotes messages centered on self-care, self-love, and acceptance.

Over the course of her career, she expanded her creative projects to other digital platforms. She creates a series on TikTok titled Pocket of Peace, which emphasizes celebrating small moments. In a December 31, 2017, Instagram video, she applied contouring cream to write derogatory terms on her face as a statement against societal labels and to advocate for self-love and empowerment. In 2021, she partnered with the cosmetics brand PÜR to launch a collaboration called PÜR xo Nabela.

She met Seth Martin during her senior year of college while both were working at the York Mall. The couple married in 2015 and live in York, Pennsylvania. After experiencing a miscarriage following a pregnancy in June 2021, they subsequently had two daughters, Amalia Rana and Aveena.

In addition to her content creation, she is recognized as an activist and for holding a pro-Palestine stance. In August 2024, she spoke at the Democratic National Convention, where she publicly endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
