Michelle Renaud

Michelle Renaud, born Michelle Renaud Ruesga on September 9, 1988, is a Mexican actress. She began her acting career as a child, making her screen debut in the 1992 telenovela Ángeles sin paraíso. In 2004, she returned to television in the telenovela Rebelde, portraying the character Michelle Pineda.

Following her role in Rebelde, Renaud continued to build her career in television. In 2009, she appeared in the telenovela Camaleones alongside Belinda and Alfonso Herrera. Over the next several years, she expanded her filmography with roles in additional telenovelas, including Llena de Amor, Ni Contigo Ni Sin Ti, and La Mujer del Vendaval.

Renaud achieved a major career milestone in 2014. After appearing as a special guest in the telenovela El Color de la Pasión, she was cast in her first lead role as an actress in the telenovela La sombra del pasado, starring alongside Pablo Lyle.

Outside of her acting career, Renaud has engaged in public education initiatives and personal pursuits. Following her mother's death from stage 4 breast cancer in 2014, Renaud began appearing in advertisements in 2017 to raise public awareness about breast cancer in Mexico. She also adopted a vegan lifestyle in 2010 after her mother's diagnosis. In her spare time, she is an avid painter and shares her artwork with fans on her Instagram account.

In her personal life, Renaud has two brothers. She was previously married to Mexican restaurateur and musician Josué Alvarado from 2016 to 2018, with whom she shares a son born in 2017. In December 2023, she married Matías Novoa. After undergoing an IVF procedure in late 2023, the couple announced in early 2024 that they were expecting a son, planned for birth in June 2024, and decided to relocate from Mexico City to settle in Spain.
