Micheline Pitt is an American fashion designer, model, artist, and director celebrated for her vintage-inspired clothing lines and signature retro pin-up aesthetic. Rising to prominence within alternative fashion circles, she has established herself as a leading creative figure across the modern pin-up, rockabilly, and gothic style communities. Pitt is best known as the founder and chief designer of the independent fashion label Vixen by Micheline Pitt, as well as the co-founder of the dark romantic couture brand La Femme en Noir.

Early Career and Pin-Up Modeling

Pitt began her professional career in the fashion, makeup, and visual arts industries in 2007. She initially earned widespread recognition while working with Pinup Girl Clothing, where she served as a product manager, makeup artist, and lead designer for the brand's popular Deadly Dames clothing line. Renowned for her classic pin-up look—featuring dramatic winged eyeliner and sculpted eyebrows—she regularly modeled her own apparel creations. Her distinctive personal style and artistry helped build a dedicated international fan base among vintage fashion enthusiasts.

Fashion Design and Business Ventures

In 2016, Pitt founded Vixen by Micheline Pitt, a Los Angeles-based fashion brand inspired by 1950s screen vamps, mid-century Hollywood glamour, and classic rockabilly culture. The company emphasizes size inclusivity, offering ethically manufactured garments in sizes ranging from XS to 4X. Under Pitt's leadership, Vixen has released numerous officially licensed collections in partnership with major entertainment studios, including fashion lines inspired by Ghostbusters, Universal Monsters, Labyrinth, Bram Stoker's Dracula, and IT. In addition to Vixen, Pitt partnered with designer Lynh Haaga to establish La Femme en Noir, a brand specializing in high-end gothic fashion.

Filmmaking and Personal Life

Beyond fashion design, Pitt is active as a writer and director in the horror and dark fantasy film genres. Working alongside her husband, filmmaker R.H. Norman, she co-directed the short film Grummy (2021) and wrote and directed the "Home Haunt" segment for the horror anthology film V/H/S/Halloween (2025). Based in Burbank, California, where her business operates a boutique showroom, Pitt continues to advocate for body positivity, ethical manufacturing, and female leadership within the apparel industry.
