Melissa Gorga

Melissa Ann Gorga (née Marco) is an American television personality, entrepreneur, and businesswoman. Born on March 21, 1979, she is best known for her long-running role on the Bravo reality television series The Real Housewives of New Jersey, which she joined during its third season in 2011.

Raised in Toms River, New Jersey, Gorga is of full Italian heritage. She pursued her higher education at New Jersey City University, during which time she resided in Bayonne, New Jersey.

Gorga rose to public prominence upon joining The Real Housewives of New Jersey in 2011 alongside her sister-in-law Teresa Giudice. That same year, she was featured on the August cover of the Boardwalk Journal. Expanding into media and publishing, she released her debut music single, On Display, in August 2011, followed by additional tracks such as How Many Times, Rockstar, and I Just Wanna in 2012, alongside a four-song EP. In September 2013, she published a relationship advice book, Love Italian Style: The Secrets of My Hot and Happy Marriage, through St. Martin's Griffin, which sparked public debate regarding its views on marital dynamics.

In addition to media projects, Gorga has built several business ventures. She launched a jewelry line on HSN in 2014 and opened a fashion retail business, Envy by Melissa Gorga, in Montclair, New Jersey, in late 2015. After navigating a partnership dispute and temporary closure in early 2017, she expanded the boutique brand to a second location in Huntington, New York, in March 2024. She also co-opened a short-lived restaurant, Gorga's Homemade Pasta and Pizza, in 2017. Later, in December 2024, she established a bakery and lifestyle brand, Let's Sprinkle by MG, which initially focused on sprinkle cookies and later expanded into other baked goods, beverages, and kitchenware.

Gorga's television appearances include starring in the debut season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in 2021, as well as guest spots on Celebrity Weakest Link and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition in late 2025. From December 2021 until July 2025, she hosted the PodcastOne show On Display.

Gorga is married to Giuseppe "Joe" Gorga, the brother of her reality television co-star Teresa Giudice. The couple has three children—Antonia, Giacinto, and Giuseppe—and resides in Montville, New Jersey.
