Faye Webster

Faye Connell Webster is an American singer-songwriter based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is known for her solo musical career, which includes the release of five studio albums: Run and Tell, Faye Webster, Atlanta Millionaires Club, I Know I'm Funny Haha, and Underdressed at the Symphony.

Webster was born on June 25, 1997, in Atlanta, Georgia, into a family that included several musicians. She attended Henry W. Grady High School in Atlanta and began writing music by the age of 14. After performing at open mic nights, her father suggested she record her songs. On October 30, 2013, at age 16, she self-released her debut album, Run and Tell. After high school, she briefly enrolled at Belmont University in Nashville to study songwriting before returning to Atlanta to pursue her music career full-time.

In 2017, Webster signed with Awful Records, embarked on a 12-city tour with Sean Rowe, and released her self-titled second album, Faye Webster. Late the following year, she signed to Secretly Canadian and released her third album, Atlanta Millionaires Club, in May 2019. The lead single "Room Temperature" was featured in Rolling Stone, and she followed the release with a US tour. In 2020, she issued the singles "In a Good Way" and "Better Distractions," the latter of which was named by former U.S. President Barack Obama as one of his favorite songs of that year.

Webster announced her fourth album, I Know I'm Funny Haha, alongside the single "Cheers" in April 2021, releasing the full record on June 25, 2021. Later that year, she released the Spotify-exclusive EP Live at Electric Lady, followed by the 2022 orchestral EP Car Therapy Sessions. She subsequently opened for the band Haim on their One More Haim Tour. In 2023, she released the singles "But Not Kiss" and "Lifetime" while announcing international tour dates.

In March 2024, Webster released her fifth studio album, Underdressed at the Symphony, supported by a tour and festival appearances at Coachella, Governor's Ball, Primavera Sound, and Bonnaroo. Later that year, she released the single "Make 'em Laugh" with Benét, and in 2025, she signed to Columbia Records.

Beyond her recording career, Webster is a photographer whose work capturing local musicians, including Lil Yachty and Shelley FKA DRAM, has appeared in outlets such as Billboard, Rolling Stone, and Spotify. Her photography led to a 2017 Nike Air Max 97 ad campaign. She is also involved in yo-yoing, having attended the World Yo-Yo Contest and designed her own custom yo-yo, and is a fan of the Atlanta Braves baseball team. In 2024, she performed at the Artists for Aid Benefit Concert for Gaza and Sudan, and in 2025, she participated in the No Music For Genocide boycott to block her music on streaming platforms in Israel.
