Dávid Julián Dobrík, born July 23, 1996, is a Slovak-born digital creator, vlogger, and television presenter based in the United States. He first gained widespread public attention on the short-form video application Vine before transitioning to YouTube, where his fast-paced comedy vlogs established him as one of the platform's most prominent personalities during the late 2010s.

Early Life and Online Beginnings

Dobrik was born in Košice, Slovakia, and relocated with his family to Vernon Hills, Illinois, at six years old. He attended Vernon Hills High School, where he excelled in varsity tennis. In 2013, while still in high school, he began creating short comedy clips on Vine. Following high school graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time career in digital media entertainment, initially collaborating with fellow content creators on collaborative channels and Vine before launching his personal YouTube channel in 2015.
