Cab achieved international recognition after signing with Island Def Jam Records and Island Records, driven by his 2013 hit single "Liar Liar." Written and produced by Pharrell Williams, the song charted in Germany, France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and was accompanied by a music video featuring a cameo by Williams. Cab released his full-length album Where I Belong in Europe in April 2014, followed by releases in the United Kingdom and the United States. In October 2014, he was selected as Elvis Duran's Artist of the Month and performed "Liar Liar" live on NBC's Today show.
Cab continued to release music in the following years. In 2015, his cover of Sting's "Englishman In New York" reached number 13 on the France Top 40 chart. He returned in 2017 with the single "All of the Girls" featuring Pitbull. In 2018, he released "Laurent Perrier" featuring Farruko, performing the track at the official FIFA World Cup viewing event in Berlin, Germany. Later that year, he released the single "Just Wanna Love You" featuring J Balvin.
